Hello, my name is Lisa and I am a fifth grade teacher in sunny Florida. I am thirty-something (let's pretend I'm in my early twenties) and have been teaching for nine years. In addition to being a professional educator for the last 10 years, I have been working with children for 20+ years. I wouldn't ask for a different role in life! Teaching is my number one passion and I've wanted to be a teacher since I was in Kindergarten. I truly believe each and every one of us is blessed with a gift, we just have to unlock it throughout the years.

 

The art of photography is another passion of mine. In addition to teaching, I am a professional photographer who specializes in portraits, families, and promotional photography. When I'm not teaching or photographing something - you can find me with my pup, close friends, family, and with the love of my life. Additionally, Jesus is important to me and I enjoy attending my church regularly. I appreciate the life lessons my church teaches because they are able to be applied to my everyday life. My number one rule is to Love Everyone. If you were to step inside of my classroom, you would see that my classroom atmosphere is based around that rule. I am proud of my classroom's warm atmosphere that revolves around building empathy, love, respect, and of course, laughter.
